Information you provide
When you use a contact, partnership, or newsletter form, we receive the information entered in that form. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, organization, inquiry type, message, language preference, and consent selection.
When you use the community-photo feature, we receive the photograph, comment, associated recipe, page language, confirmation of age and permissions, submission reference, and limited technical and security data related to the submission. This form does not ask for your name or email address. Do not include faces, contact details, addresses, identifying documents, private messages, precise location information, or other personal information in the photograph or comment.
Technical information
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals needed to deliver and protect the website. Chef Naz does not currently use advertising or marketing analytics trackers.
How information is used
We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate partnership requests, maintain the newsletter waiting list, operate and secure the website, prevent spam or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the clarity and usefulness of our content.
We use community submissions to verify permissions, prevent abuse, review relevance, safety, privacy, and legal concerns, prepare selected photographs for display, and handle removal or rights requests. Community submissions are never published automatically.
Service providers and disclosure
Form submissions and website delivery are handled by service providers acting on our behalf, including our hosting provider. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Before approval, a community submission is not displayed publicly on Chef Naz pages. Authorized reviewers and providers used for form processing, security, storage, and image preparation may process it. If selected for publication, a prepared copy of the photograph, the comment, and its recipe tag may become public; the original filename, technical data, submission reference, and review record are not published.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, to resolve disputes, or to meet legal requirements. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Community submissions that are not selected for publication are deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed for review, security, rights, or dispute handling. If a contribution is published, its prepared photograph, comment, recipe tag, consent record, and moderation record may remain while it is displayed. Provider caches or backups may persist temporarily after deletion.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also ask to be removed from the newsletter waiting list. Submit a request to admin@chefnaz.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
To request removal of a community submission, email admin@chefnaz.com with the recipe URL and submission reference, if available. If you no longer have the reference, include enough detail to locate the submission. We may request information reasonably necessary to confirm that you control the photograph or are otherwise authorized to make the request.
Children
The website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us for deletion.
Community submissions are available only to people 18 or older. Do not submit photographs containing identifiable children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The updated date will appear on this page. Privacy questions may be sent to admin@chefnaz.com.
